An American Crime

It seems like most current American films are all pretty much the same: totally unexciting and extremely predictable. It's as though the producers and writers are running out of juicy nectar.... Or they are purely enthralled by marketing to a certain dimwit/bland group of audience. Are there not enough people with good movie taste for them to make a decent flick for the theaters anymore?!

Anyways, this movie is one of the best biographical films I have yet to see. I almost actually turned it off, because some parts were just ridiculously rechid. The flick is based on a case from Indiana of '63 where a girl is left to be watched by her neighbor while her parents chase a circus. The neighbor ends up being a psychotic power hungry mother who takes things way too far.

Get this movie.
